New Hire Training

Welcome to the Mendix Low-Code Training! This training is designed to help you start developing in Mendix. While it's impossible for us to create a training that includes an exhaustive list of everything you'll need to know during your time at BYU, we hope to give you the foundational knowledge and resources to continue your learning. This training is still going through some refinement, and you may need help going through it. Please feel free to reach out using the Low Code guild channel and to others around you if you're working at the ITB.

In this training you will:

1. Create a Mendix Account
2. Complete learning paths offered by Mendix Academy
3. Complete the Mendix Rapid Developer Certification Exam
4. Create a simple demo app in Mendix
5. Learn how to add styling and CSS to Mendix apps
6. Practice what you've learned by creating an app of your choice
7. Take on practice stories and learn Mendix best practice
